Our client is an early stage, women's health startup building the first generation of PMS care. Their vision is to be the go-to resource for PMS and PMDD, to facilitate deeper and greater understanding of these conditions and co-create the tools people need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

They've launched the beta community and knowledge hub and will be combining feedback and learnings with existing research and discovery to launch an innovative community app and a first-of-a-kind, clinically-validated nutraceutical. They'll also be launching a diagnostic symptom tracker, a software-based medical device that offers tailored, in-the-moment actionable insights and advice.


About the role

We are looking for an experienced, senior product manager or chief product officer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for translating their commercial vision into a product strategy, owning and developing the four product pillars, leading user testing, managing the regulatory framework, leading and growing the product team, and collaborating with marketing. 

This individual’s contributions will make a difference to the lives of millions of women affected by PMS and PMDD. For this reason, we’re looking for someone who is deeply passionate about making a positive impact.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Translating the commercial vision into a product strategy with a clear road map that establishes priorities and identifies bottlenecks and resource requirements.

  • Owning and developing the 4 product pillars:

    • Community and content

    • Freemium membership offering (premium content, specialist support)

    • Nutraceutical subscription service

    • Symptom tracker and diagnostic device

  • Leading user testing, including focus groups, interviews, large-scale analytics, and social listening.

  • Collaborating with established research partners to conduct clinical trials and validate product efficacy.

  • Managing the regulatory framework, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.

  • Leading and grow the product team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.

  • Collaborating with marketing to ensure product alignment and maximise product reach.

Ideal candidate

You’ll have experience in:

  • Proven experience in designing and launching a medical software device in digital health within a start-up environment. (Minimum of 2 successful product launches with demonstrated user growth, revenue generation, and market impact)

  • Clinical and regulatory experience, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trials, and certifications in the healthcare industry.

  • A wide range of user testing experiences, including focus groups, interviews, large-scale analytics, and social listening.

  • Experience managing a team of product managers.

  • Senior decision-making experience, reporting into C Suite, board, and investors.
