For a long time, menopause has been considered something of a taboo topic and one which tended to get swept under the carpet by many. Thankfully that all seems to be changing, with celebrities openly sharing their experiences and with more and more employers recognising the need to do their bit in supporting their employees, whether that’s by having a dedicated menopause policy, developing a more supportive workplace culture or by actively encouraging open discussion and signposting.
It’s a welcome change and one which is long overdue. As it’s World Menopause Day on the 18th of October, we thought it would be therefore quite timely to shine a light on some of the innovative startups that are each striving to create solutions and services to support women, non-binary and trans people with menopause.
