Our Client is growing their Innovation Team, so we are on the lookout for an Innovation Programme Lead. The company is dedicated to establishing the UK’s most interconnected innovation ecosystem, focused on cyber security and emerging technologies.

They are a partner of the NCSC for Startups. At the heart of the innovation team is their commitment to bridging sectors and technology domains, providing both the public and private sectors with access to the innovation market. As the Innovation Programme Lead, you'll lead the charge in creating high-impact innovation programs and fostering connections in the innovation ecosystem for startup innovators. This dynamic role demands a deep passion for entrepreneurship, expertise in technology and innovation, and a commitment to delivering top-quality projects.

  • Develop and execute high-impact innovation programs for startup innovators.

  • Forge connections within the innovation ecosystem to create opportunities for startups.

  • Navigate ambiguity effectively, network and build relationships.

  • Lead teams to achieve ambitious outcomes and ensure project excellence.

  • Combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational management.

  • Leverage your experience in technology, innovation, and startups.

  • Exhibit excellent program management and communication skills.

The ideal candidate…

  • Proven work experience in a technology, innovation, venture, or startup environment.

  • Solid grasp of the cyber security landscape and related technologies.

  • Understanding of product development processes, commercialization, startup growth strategies, and technology incubation.

  • Previous experience mentoring startups and innovators.

  • Strong communication skills, including expertise in workshop facilitation.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Expertise in program management, with strong organizational skills and a structured approach to delivery.

  • Experience in managing program budgets, suppliers, and other third-party relationships.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to create and engage networks to achieve business goals.

  • A passionate interest in emerging technologies (e.g., cyber, AI, quantum).
